Fees

New Member Trial Period

Prospective members can try up to four classes for free without any commitment. Normal workout attire can be worn during the trial period, but purchasing a dogi is required for continuing practice long-term (a single weave judo gi is recommended).

Tuition & Cost

Dues are $50 per month.

These dues cover our operating costs, including practice space rental and club equipment. Personal equipment, rank exam fees, and annual federation dues are not included in monthly dues.

We teach that martial arts begin and end with courtesy. Timely payment of dues demonstrates the respect you have for your dojo, your fellow students, and your Sensei.

Members are required to purchase their own dogi (practice uniform), protective equipment, and have indoor shoes to wear inside the dojo. Purchasing a personal jo (wooden staff), bokken (wooden sword), tanto (wooden knife), and iaito (steel sword) is recommended but not immediately required.

If you have financial difficulties, please speak with the instructor or a senior dojo member. We will be happy to try to come to an arrangement that allows you to either start or continue practicing.
